How To Make Banana Pancakes



Pancakes are one of the most simple snacks to make, you don't need to have a solid confectionaries skills. But, I will be taking you through how to make banana pancakes. 


Have you ever wondered what goodness is in a banana? Other than being rich in vitamin B6, bananas are a good source of vitamin C, dietary fibre and manganese. Bananas are also fat-free, cholesterol-free and virtually sodium-free. Bananas are ever out of season, it might just be cheaper in one season than the other.

Yield: 12 pancakes




Ingredients 


✔️ 1 cup all-purpose flour

 

✔️ 1 tablespoon white sugar

 

✔️ 2 teaspoons baking powder

 

✔️ pinch of salt (optional) 

 

✔️ 1 egg, beaten

 

✔️ 1 cup milk

 

✔️ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

 

✔️  2 ripe bananas, mashed


NOTE: you can increase or decrease the quantity of any of the ingredients to your taste. Also, u can remove banana, if you will prefer a plain pancake. 


Directions


Step 1

Mix all the dry ingredients, flour, white sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil and bananas.


 Step 2

Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be slightly lumpy.


 Step 3

Rub your frying pan with using a small paint brush or hand, which ever way you want it. Heat the lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides; serve hot.


NOTE: you don't necessary have to use a non sticky pan if u don't have one. Just make sure you rub enough oil on the pan used so that the pancake won't stick to the pan. You can use olive oil or soya oil if you have.
